Set within the grounds of the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, Warwickshire,
the George Eliot Training and Education Centre (GETEC) is a £5.5m academic
centre, equipped to handle all modern business training needs. Our flexible room
arrangements mean we can cater for a wide range of room sizes or seating
arrangements for up to 161 people in any session at any one time. Our multimedia
equipment range can either incorporate your equipment or provide for your needs
on its own.
The new centre is a welcome addition to the Trust’s facilities. The £5.5m centre
was funded by capital of £3.4m from funds for clinical teaching of medical
undergraduates from the Department of Health, and £2.1m from the Strategic
Health Authority, recognising the importance of teaching and research in
healthcare within the hospital. The new TEC provides training and education
facilities for students, Trust staff and others in the community.
